Cycling Carnival

A cycling carnival parade, BMX displays and bike check ups will entertain people flocking to the city centre for the Tour Series Peterborough cycle race.
The televised race on Thursday 4th June at 7pm, will see ten teams of five professional cyclists race 30 laps of a 1.1km course through the city centre.
There will also be a diverse selection of unusal bikes for visitors to try as well as cycle simulation games.
Entertainment kicks off around the Cathedral Square area from 2pm and Businesses as well as the public are invited to join in the carnival atmosphere. The race coincides with the Peterborough Green Festival, and people are encouraged to leave there cars at home and try going green by taking public transport, cycling or even walking to work.
Our opening hours will be affected slightly so we can join in the fun, we will not be opening late night this Thursday, however we will be opening at the earlier time of 9am so why not pop in before going to work.
