The East of India story begins with Anne Spratling and John Ayris travelling around the world in 1989 where they met a family of artisans who made the most charming products from wood, paper and other natural materials. Then in 1991 the Princes Trust forwarded a small loan and East Of India was born. East of India’s popularity has grown from strength to strength, creating the brand to be passed down through generations.
They design all their own products, creating not only exclusivity but also a cohesive look throughout the whole range. All products are designed around the extensive skills of their artisans and are the result of a close working relationship.
East of India is one of our most popular gift ware ranges. It is a treasure trove of handmade gorgeousness for all those special occasions. All East of India products are designed in house, most being hand made in traditional ways in Britain and around the world.

McLaggan Smith Mugs
McLaggan Smith Mugs are new in at Reba, who can resist a good ole cuppa in the morning sipping from your favorite mug.
Keep calm and carry on range makes me chuckle and I am definitely going to use the saying 'Buy shoes and look great' at some point this weekend :)
McLaggan Smith Mugs is a family business operating in Jamestown, a couple of miles from the shores of Loch Lomond in the West of Scotland. Established by Wally Smith in 1974, the company is now run by his wife Camille and daughter Polly.
They have 20 fantastic hard working employees printing and decorating the mugs here in Scotland. Every week we dispatch mugs all over the UK. We have customers throughout Europe and as far apart as the Falkland Islands and Japan.

Tracy Davison summer jewellery collection now in !
We love our new Tracy Davison Summer collection. In case you’ve not yet heard of her, here’s some Tracy news ! With a background in the financial services industry, Tracy started her company by doing retail shows and now supplies high end independent boutiques, galleries and design led shops across the Uk and beyond.
All of the jewellery is designed and manufactured in the UK from the Studio in Devon, so that they can keep the high levels of quality control that they are known for.
Each piece of jewellery is hand made, and in a world where we are constantly seeing less and less for our money, the jewellery collection represents excellent quality and value.
Tracy’s jewellery has been featured in fashion, trade and national press for its
use of colour and quality of materials and craftsmanship.

We have a fabulous new range of contemporary handbags and purses by Stone handbags. They are bang on trend in this seasons colour palette. Irregular Choice Shoes - the Love affair begins...!
Reba can’t get enough of the unique and quirky designs of our fabulous range of Irregular Choice shoes. Once you see them you’ll fall in love too, they're really quirky... Here’s the story of the brand and how it all began...
In August 1999, Irregular Choice was launched in 1999 from the quaint seaside town of Brighton, by design entrepreneur Dan Sullivan. Dan was on a mission to change the way we see shoes and put his Irregular ‘stomp’ on the footwear world.
Irregular Choice has since been named ‘The Lifestyle Choice of Fashion Footwear’ and The Purveyor of Fresh, malicious and multicoloured shoes’. They have also launched a flagship store in New York’s Nolita neighbourhood and a residence on London’s Carnaby Street.
Dan came from an original design background, educated by his up- bringing and surroundings. His parents owned the well renowned Transport store on London’s Kings Road in the 70s, working with the likes of Red or Dead and Katherine Hamnett, when fashion was about being distinctive and making a strong statement. This propelled Dan into launching the Irregular Choice brand. Dan saw the gap for fresh, fun footwear, always keeping true to the original source of inspiration and imagination: his unique travels and experiences.
Over the last 10 years Irregular Choice has carved itself a niche and inadvertently founded itself a fan club. Having had collaborations with some of the worlds most sought after brands and designers, they are constantly pushing the boundaries with each collection. They’ve even been named ‘The Viagra of the shoe industry’.

Irregular Choice is known for maintaining creativity and individuality in a world of conformity. It is more than just the name of a brand. It’s a state of mind, a way of being. A supply of something fresh and fun that maintains imagination and originality above all else.

Happy New Year
Happy 2011 to all our lovely customers.
Here’s Reba’s top 5 New Year resolutions
Buy when you see: I have fallen many a time into the trap of not buying when I see, assuming it will still be there on my return the following week yet to be let down as the shop has sold out. Not a mistake I intend to make again in the New Year!
Treat yourself at least once a month to a new outfit: When you break it down 12 outfits a year is not that many! (Well that’s what I tell the other half!)
Be Fit and Healthy: Quit the cigarettes and alcohol this year, go to the gym and eat well, you’ll feel the benefits in no time.
Spring clean: We could all do with a good ole clear out whether its your wardrobe that’s been screaming for a re-vamp or you personal life like ditching those Facebook friends you just don’t need! There’s no time like the present.
Laugh more and worry less: Life’s to short to worry about the little things, make the most of every moment. Love more and appreciate what you have.

New brand just arrived at Reba. Caro purses, make up bags and handbags. The Caro range was launched in 2002 during a trip to Delhi’s bustling wholesale market. The array of gorgeous ribbons, trims and amazing fabrics was so inspiring to the founder Caro Cutts and she found herself designing with fashion textiles again after a 5 year break from fashion. Caro products are colourful and visually stunning with practical appeal.
